John MacDonald Runs Quickest Pass in SSO History
John MacDonald now owns both ends of the NMRA Procharger Super Street Outlaw record with his run
in Bowling Green, KY on October 2, 2010. His run of 7.28 was the quickest time ever in the class for a
supercharged car. John also set the m.p.h record at Milan, MI with a speed of 197.65. Both runs were
on Dragon Racing Fuels’ Tarragon 118.
The Motorcity Motorsports / Dragon Racing Fuels entry missed the championship by a mere 10 points.
Dragon Racing Fuels would like to congratulate John and the whole Motorcity Motorsports team on a
great year.
In NMRA Action over the weekend at Route 66 Dragstrip in Joliet IL, John Macdonald again was the #1 Qualifier in the ProCharger Super Outlaw Class. His 7.344 @ 193 MPH was also the fastest of the field for the second consecutive race weekend. He made it to the semifinal round before a mechanical malfunction forced him to run on only seven cylinders. John still only lost by 0.028 in the round. On a good note John took over the points lead with only three races to go for the year.

two qualifying spot with a 7.37 @ 192.93 mph, this past weekend in Charlotte NC. John raced

John MacDonald Runs Personal Best at Columbus Still In Points Lead
September 3rd John MacDonald and his Motorcity Motorsports team powered by Dragon Racing Fuels, traveled to Columbus for the second to last NMRA event. In qualifying he ran a 7.33 e.t. @ 193.84, which was a personal best. The first round wasn’t as pleasant. John ended up losing by .021 and when he pulled his chutes the car went through some oil and ended up hitting the wall. All should be fixed for the final race in Bowling Green, KY October 3.
